Jean is a native of
Spokane,
Washington. She has
lived all about the United States, but considers western Washington, particularly Point Roberts, home. Jean holds an undergraduate degree in American
Studies from Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington;
a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary,
Columbus, Ohio and a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from
the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
She also has special training in family systems and
interim ministry.
Jean served Trinity; Point Roberts for three years before
accepting a call to Renton,
Washington
where she served two years, before acquiring her Doctor of
Ministry degree. She
has also served as interim pastor in Lynden and Bellingham,
WA
before being called a second time to serve Trinity in
Point Roberts.
Jean married Curtis Bush in 2002.
Curt has a daughter, a son and two grandchildren.
Jean has two sons and one grandchild. Together they have a
love of family, travel and community, plus a large garden
to keep them busy.
